Strikes at O'hare International Airport?

According to CNN, O'hare International Airport workers are planning a strike for Thanksgiving break. Thanksgiving being one of the busiest times for O'hare, will cause chaos in travels. Workers are paid $8.25, which is the minimum wage for Illinois and they want more money. O'hare is doing everything they can to stop the chance of a strike occurring over break. If this strike takes place hundreds of flights will get cancelled or delayed. Have a great Thanksgiving and safe travels.

  1. I am shocked that these workers are only making minimum wage. The airline companies need to pay a little more and stop making such big profits. Over holidays airline tickets cost a good amount of money and workers who deal with this increase number of flyers should get paid more. I would strike to if I was in their position. They know they couldn't fill all of those jobs before the holidays so this is a perfect time to go on strike and demand more pay. Customers will not be happy if they miss time with their families because they are stuck in the airport with a delay or even worse there flight gets cancelled. I hope O'hare airport figures it out before it causes a disaster. This is a great post.
