Facebook a liar?

Yes. Facebook lied. They lied about how much time people spent watching video ads. This is a big issue because ad agencies that spend money to buy advertisements will spend more money due to the metrics that Facebook released. Lying about how much people watch video ads in a grave mistake. This will downgrade their reputation. If companies spend more money to get an advertisement on Facebook, they could possibly not generate the return they want from it. The purpose of buying an advertisement is to generate some money back. Facebook has fixed the problem in the way they calculate the metrics. They have apparently been lying about the metrics for the past 2 years.

Oakland Raiders moving to Las Vegas?

Recently, the Nevada oversight committee voted to start a public fundraiser to collect money to build a stadium in Las Vegas. This stadium, if built, will be the home to the Raiders as of right now. That means there will no longer be an Oakland football team. This also follows the news of an NHL team being placed in Las Vegas starting in the 20117-18 season. There have been people already willing to help fund the team, including the Oakland Raiders themselves. If the supposed funding goes through there will be a team very soon. The Raiders said they will contribute $500 million and the Alderson family plans to contribute $650 million. The goal is to raise at least $750 million. Once they commit their money we will have an NFL team in Las Vegas.

Do you think there will be a gambling problem with professional teams in Las Vegas? Put your opinion down below!

Cease Fire in Syria. More focus on Isis?

Friday night US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to agree upon a cease-fire for Syria. They agreed to work together on targeting Islamist Militant groups. This is a great thing for our world. Isis has been claiming a lot of terrorist attacks in the past year or so, while we have been sending airstrikes here and there. Sure, one of the leaders of Isis was killed recently by a drone strike, but that is not enough. Isis has grown so large and killing one person will not do much. Now with this agreeance of a cease-fire, the US and Russia can try to plan a way to diminish the threat of global terrorism. In the last few months of President Obama's second and final term, the US looks to get rid of Isis. Obama's legacy as president, as of right now, includes the rise of Isis. Will he be able to rid Isis before his term is up? Feel free to leave a comment or concern and stay tuned for more posts about what is happening in our world today.
